My dedicated time on the trainer

Gentlemen, you may have thought the trainer had been immortalized in a mad shooting spree recently but that is not the case....  In fact I've succombed to the old adage that if you can't beat them then join them....

The video here was captured by my wife as I went thru my normal routine on the bike trainer.
Enjoy...  I've been told it's poetry in motion.
Actually it's just TCOPE in motion....
Actually it's not even that....

Why I love pro cycling.....

I win!!!  Now I eat the brats!!!

1st stage Paris Nice in the books. This is the time of year I miss so badly not being in Europe. The whole continent is abuzz with the start of the Spring classics and the season. Here? well, i don't even know what sports season it is.

Anyway mindless blabbering.....
Yes, the peloton is fraught with dope and the sport in my humble opinion pretty much in disfavor. however there is one good shining light that I love about this sport. The guy who won the 1st stage today gave an interview and in that interview he revealed his secret for winning.....

You may think if you're from the Lance Armstrong camp it had something to do with more time this off season in the wind tunnel. You may think it revolved around shaving .000005 grams off his frame weight. It might even be the lactate threshold testing that was done that allowed him to peak at just the right time.
If you guessed any of those you would be wrong.....

The real reason he won......
The Belgian gave up eating sausage that allowed him to lose 10 pounds!!!!!!
